About Me

I help leaders step into new roles with clarity and confidence. Over three decades, I’ve led organizations across Sri Lanka and represented them globally building strategies in boardrooms, steering transformations, and driving growth in complex environments.

I have held senior leadership roles across diverse sectors including conglomerates, plantations, professional bodies, national tourism, international development, and sustainability networks. Over the past three decades, I have worked with boards, CEOs, and institutions to strengthen performance, rebuild trust, and deliver sustainable impact.

Key Leadership Successes

  • Guided the Chairman/CEO of Hayleys Group with performance insights that enabled early strategies for recovery.
  • Positioned Hayleys Group as an INSEAD case study on sustainable growth and international collaboration.
  • Drove the acquisition and global branding of Ceylon Tea in international markets.
  • Rebuilt the reputation of CIMA Sri Lanka as its Governance Board Chairman; awarded the CIMA Global Silver Medal for contribution.
  • Introduced influencer-driven destination marketing at Sri Lanka Tourism—an approach still adopted today—which contributed to Sri Lanka being ranked the world’s #1 destination by Lonely Planet.
  • Secured adoption of UN Global Compact principles by the Colombo Stock Exchange and the national professional accounting body.
  • Served as Technical Chair of Sri Lanka’s Human Capital Summits with the World Bank, ADB, ILO, and EFC—helping to shape future-ready workforce strategies for the country’s key sectors.


Today, as an Executive Transition Coach, I draw on these experiences to help leaders adapt faster, align with organizational strategy, and deliver lasting success. My work focuses on ensuring leadership transitions are not left to chance but become opportunities to strengthen both the individual and the organization.
